Having spent no less than 6 months in search of the perfectly layerable silk cami, I finally struck gold in DUMBO - go figure.
Spring to summer staple - if you can afford the luxury, buy in BULK!

Long and lean. Available in a variety of neutral colors including creme (shown) and caramel.

Truth be told, this lovely little piece was a delightful departure from Mary Green's signature pieces that include brightly colored mesh boyshorts and tissue-thin lacey bras suitable only for prepubescent teenagers. But credit must be given where credit is due, so much respect for creating this divine slice of simplicity.

This year-old boutique owned by Suewayne Brown (who also runs Redberi in Prospect Heights) features simple and elegant pieces in easy, breathable fabrics like linen, cotton and silk. Designers include Paige Denim, Earnest Sewn Denim, Mary Green lingerie as well as a selection of designer pieces from Jill Stuart. Chunky rings, uapologetically large pendants and spindly silver earrings are off set by select vintage scarves, bags and shoes. Bonus: for the girl who laments her size nine peds - Suewyne keeps a thoughtful stock of ultra lux vintage heels. Expect to find gently used Jimmy Choo next to gems from the 40's-80's. Divine!
